Watercolour winter sketch

View from my kitchen window

As I did not go on the sketch crawl I tried out a watercolour sketch  of  a snowy, neighbour’s garden, as seen from my kitchen window. I am trying out using water colours straight, without  any pencil or pen drawing first. Perhaps it is a bit “chocolate- boxy”,  but  there it is.

One Response to Watercolour winter sketch

  1. Sorry you didn’t make Tate Modern yesterday but I see you didn’t waste your time. Good experiment going straight to the paint and very delicate and sensitive little painting.

I have another exhibition that I want you to join me at. Works on Paper and Watercolour Fair at the end of the month – Science Museum.
